Thanks... I knew you were the type who would like to see some more odd things.

This is the button that you use to flush the toilet here. It is mounted right in the center of the toilet. Since there is a water shortage, there are two options for flush. If you press the left button, it only flushes a little big (for liquids), and the button on the right hand side is a bigger flush (for solids). I'll leave it up to you to determine which button would be appropriate for your last visit.

Electrical Outlets

These are the electrical outlets here, called powerpoints. Every electrical outlet has an on/off switch on it. All the outlets are also grounded, and are 240volts.

Me in a tree!

Here is a picture of me in a tree.

Up the in the Blue Mountains, fire is a regular occurrence, and in fact many of the forsest ecosystems depend on regular burning to maintain them. This tree had been burned at one point. The tree grew around the burnt part and the inside rotted out (although I'm sure ants had something to do with it). Hollow trees, and even hollows in trees, where many animals nest, are quite common in the forests here. I'm sure for local Aussie's this is no big deal, but for a Canadian this is quite amazing.
